Whoop Whoop!

I would just like to make a most exciting blog-official announcement that as of January 16th, my mom, Auntie Rabina, AND Steph will be in Shanghai for a nine day visit!! I am SO excited, excitement that exclamation marks and caps lock cannot sufficiently capture.

In other news, I have set a new ridiculous sleeping record of going to sleep at 6:30 am and waking up at 4:30 pm. I guess people either think this is funny or disgusting. Personally, I have one foot in each camp.

    Hi Amy – really enjoying your blog! I hope one day you’ll skip the boring life of a person in business and instead continue to travel and entertain us with your blogs. Those of us with a mortgage are enjoying living vicariously through you!

    Hope you all have fun when your mom, Steph and Rabina arrive later in the week. Be sure to take them to some of the crazy places you’ve already been to. I’ve put in my order for a nice (cheap) Coach bag so if you have time, maybe you can do some advance scouting for me!

      Glad you`re enjoying the blog, I`ve really been enjoying writing it. I am planning to hold out on getting on the 9-5 routine for as long as possible, but i don`t know if my lifestyle can go on indefinitely. At what age does it become socially unacceptable to crash at your parents house after running out of travel money? I think my parents have already guessed that I`m planning to push the limit on this.

      I`ve had a great week with my mom, Steph and Auntie Rabina in Shanghai. It`s been nice to show them the city, introduce them to my friends, etc. It`s been just the dose of home I needed to get a boost before the next two months of straight travel :D

      Looking forward to seeing you all at home again, I know everyone else has really been enjoying having you all close by, so I`ll look forward to taking advantage myself! Say hi to Allan, Craig and Owen for me. If you send me your address, I`ll send the boys some postcards from Thailand :D

    Hi Amy – great to hear from you and it sounds like a good time was had by all the travellers! By now you are showing Cody the sights and soon you will be home again! We’re all looking forward to seeing you. Have a great time in Thailand – and don’t worry, if your parents get tired of you at their place, we’ll have you here!
